The SCS signer application is a tool that enables you to sign anything, using a smart card issued by the Digital and Population Data Services Agency (DPSDA). This smart card is needed to access the SCS service, which is used for signing. The signer device can either be a mobile phone or a tablet.
When you first start the app, it will show you a notification that you need to install a local certificate in order to be able to use it. This is because the app needs to be able to access the SCS service, which is used for signing. In order to do that, it needs to be able to verify the identity of the person who is making the request.
When you install the certificate, it will also give you a notification that the service is available.
